This is why here at Uckfield Press we have committed ourselves to a programme of environmentally friendly policies in all production processes.

All paper is sourced from well managed forests which has the FSC certification.
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is widely regarded as one of the most important initiatives in the print industry in recent years.

In using this label we are showing that the paper we source and use originates from forests that are managed and renewed for future generations.

All plates used are collected and recycled by our licensed waste carrier. Our computer-to-plate machinery uses water technology to minimise the use of chemicals.

All inks used are vegetable based and we use the Technotrans ink cartridge system which leaves absolutely minimal ink residue.

All waste including paper, cardboard, plates and plastic ink containers are separated before being collected for recycling.
